هذا فيلم [إينسبيرأيشنل]. It inspires me to improve myself through drive, loyalty, ambition, dedication, and hard work. Motivation in every sense of the word.
Famous quote in Million Dollar Baby: If there’s magic in boxing, it’s the magic of fighting battles beyond endurance, beyond cracked ribs, ruptured kidneys and detached retinas. It’s the magic of risking everything for a dream that nobody sees but you.
2. Rudy
Now I’ll be the first to admit I’m not a huge fan of American football, but this true story about an underdog looking to become a quarterback for Notre Dame is nothing short of spectacular. Rudy is a physically average man who, through sheer hard work and determination, realizes his dream! This movie makes me confident that I can overcome any odds and reach levels I never thought were possible before.
Famous quote in Rudy: Well, you know what my dad always said, Having dreams is what makes life tolerable.
1. Rocky IV
What can I say about this movie that hasn’t already been said? Former champ Rocky Balboa ( played by Sylvester Stallone) goes to Russia to fight a drugged up Soviet champion to avenge his friends death. Cue some amazing training montages which compare the low-budget methods of Rocky against the high-tech routine adopted by Ivan Drago. This movie just makes me want to work out. Hard. It also makes me want to square up with the gym meat head just to say “I will break you.” Fantastic.
Famous quote in Rocky IV: No, maybe I can’t win. Maybe the only thing I can do is just take everything he’s got. But to beat me, he’s going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he’s gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he’s got to be willing to die himself. I don’t know if he’s ready to do that. I don’t know.
