I am a bride-to-be.. and am getting married in 3 weeks time.
I have been struggling with weight problems since I was a teenager and I have tried numerous bogus slimming stuff to lose those weight..

however, since I have started yoga, running and swimming for the past 3 years (double with smart selection of food - no dieting!), I have managed to lose 9kgs. I am now at 63kg with BMI 22.

I still want to lose a few more kilos just to burn all the fats under my arms, thighs and butts.. . I couldn't be happier with what I am now, toned up... with great stamina...

Although I am not skinny, but I feel great about my body, and am able to eat the food I like....

All brides or women in general.. should take exercise for overall well being, rather than believing in those scams...

Well said Mun!!

Seen some friends go through the "hell" of getting ready for the wedding. It doesn't help that the bridal shops have such small dresses too - indirectly putting more pressure on the bride to lose more weight!

Absolutely agree. But there are other healthy ways to lose weight and don't get sick later. I think a woman has to do healthy diets in about 2 or 3 months before the wedding in order she achieves her goal for her weeding.
I thing the most healthy and needed food eaten, the most beauty and health.

I agree with you completely, the bride (and the groom should too) just make a change to a healthier lifestyle. Even if the bride does manage to lose the weight she wants to with a fad diet, more likely than not, the weight will come back on after the wedding. This will lead to more yo-yo dieting.

A diet of natural, unprocessed foods and a total body resistance training program with HIIT 3-4 days a week would get great results for the average person.
