
I wrote about CNergy Fitness about one and half year ago in my defunct old blog. Jeg skrev om CNergy Fitness omkring halvandet år siden i min hedengangne gamle blog. CNergy is not a gym, but a 1-year card program which allows the members to visit selected gyms in Klang Valley, Malaysia. Yu Jin: We pay the gyms in advance for usage. Yu Jin: Vi betaler hallerne på forhånd for brug. The gyms are in a winning position – they do not have to fork out any promotional or marketing monies or effort. CNergy did pretty well to get 1,000 members within a year. CNergy gjorde ganske godt at få 1.000 medlemmer inden for et år. I would think the membership will be more suitable for students and housewives because of the time slots allocated to visit the gyms. Jeg skulle mene, at medlemskabet vil være mere egnet til studerende og husmødre på grund af de tidspunkter der er afsat til besøg i hallerne. They have more flexible hours compared to working crowd who normally has to work between 8 AM to 6 PM. Also, like what Yu Jin mentioned, for beginners who need guidance, it may be a good choice. Også, lige hvad Yu Jin nævnt, for begyndere, der har brug for vejledning, kan det være et godt valg. However, for regular gym goers, if they have already known what they want, it may make more sense for them sign up a package directly from the gym. CNergy is not really competing head to head with big gyms. CNergy er egentlig ikke konkurrerende hoved til hoved med store motionsrum. Rather, it complements them. As its tag line says, “The card you need to get fit,” CNergy gives beginners a chance to explore the fun of working out with less upfront fees though it comes with a compromise of the time slots it has with some of the gyms. The concept is good, but it's the operational time of some gyms that I dun quite like. Konceptet er godt, men det er den operationelle tid af nogle fitnesscentre, at jeg dun meget gerne. Meaning I will have to remember which gym open at what time and it will be frustrating to remember all this… :) Betydning Jeg bliver nødt til at huske, hvilken motionscenter åbent på hvilket tidspunkt, og det vil være frustrerende at huske alt dette ...:)
