Motivation is defo the biggy! My man started training just a few short months ago, He's looking hot and I make sure I tell him all the time. It's not just about the motivation to stick with the training programme, it's given him a new found confidence too.

It is very hard to stay with anything when you don't see results. If nothing else, if you feel better maybe that will help you stay motivated to keep it up! I have found an awesome online fitness support team!

Motivation is critical! All aesthetic goals rely on a strong foundation of lifestyle.

One of the most helpful things to stay motivated so you consistently go to the gym is to track your progress and break up large goals into smaller milestones. If you need to lose 15lbs, and see that you lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks, you will be alot more likely to stick with the program for another 3 weeks.

What goals will most motivate you? Usually, people are concerned with "looking better naked", but the more reasons you have to workout, the more likely you will stick with it.

On reason that is never really talked about in the media is that EXERCISE MAKES YOU SMARTER! And not in some hokey pokey philisophical way. The research is clear, exercise builds neurons in your brain!

Now you have a whole other reason to stay on the treadmill :)

You're right -- it's so important not to give up too quickly. Some people notice results right away, while others take longer. Even so, if you DON'T give up, you WILL see results! :)

It's all about motivation. I also "stopped" for a while because I got injured and was very frustrated for a while.

Anyway, it's a change of lifestyle and habit, so; it should take a while.
