Ya, being around other people's sweat is a huge turn off for me. I prefer to workout at home with my workout videos. I'm loving the 10 Minute Trainer right now!

OK I like what your reporting. I suppose that same observation prompted me to look for cleaner ways to complement my work out.

I agree with Hugo. Most people don't even think about the potential germs at the gym but it really is something that should be given more thought.

Hey Mun,

Great post and one that should be taken more seriously as many germs get spread through the gym, especially from those gym goers who think they are doing themselves a favour by trying to train through their illness.

At hospitals in the UK they now have anti bacterial hand wash stations to help stop MRSA and other germs being spread in the hospital. It maybe a good idea for the gyms around the world to supply the same.

Keep up the good work!

Yikes, I am guilty of always walking barefoot in the changing area. The 'smell' at the machines from fresh sweat really grossed me out- that's why I do my best to go when there are less people around. Yes, there are times when I accidentally touch my face after touching the handles, a red patch developed and it can get sort of pain and itchy.
