We have heard women crazy about having cosmetic surgery to shape noses or enlarge their boobs, but now, some guys are also opting for similar operation to have six packs. Yeah, many will be keen to find out more information if there is really a way to get washboard abs without sweating or exercising.
Abdominal etching or high-definition liposuction or more commonly known as six-pack surgery is the technique to make many guys’ dream come true. By taking away excess fat and skin, the doctor will sculpt the muscle definition of six-pack.
However, not everyone is a good candidate for this plastic surgery. One must have athletic-looking underlying muscles at the tummy. In other words, you need to have a certain amount of fat - not too little or too much. Rule of thumb is 1 to 2 centimeters of pinchable belly fat.

Actually, abdominal etching is not something new. It has been used since 10 years ago, but remain unpopular. Why? Because it is mainly meant for men and men tend to be in the minority of cosmetic surgery patients.
If you are too busy to work out yet insisting to have wash board type of abs by going through this 6-pack surgery, be prepared to fork out surgery fee of $3,000 to $10,000. Not only that, after the 1-hour medical procedure, the pain and swelling may last for days or even weeks. Some patients suffer from complications like infection and bleeding.
Mun’s Comments:
- I believe that most of the men opting for this surgery probably are complaining that all men are not created equal. They want the easy way out to get rid of the stubborn fat. The thing is, even if the doctor can “cut” and make the 6-pack obvious, if the patient does not watch his diet or do any exercise, his stomach will go back to the original 1-pack after some time.
- Also, it can be weird when one has 6-pack yet he has flabby arms and man boobs.
- Contrary to belief, given a choice between fake surgical abs and natural abs with a bit of love handles, I bet that many girls will go for the latter. Am I right, girls?
In fact, may be it is better to pay less to get the superhero’s costumes with the fake plastic muscles. I am sure Batman and gang will agree with me!

So, you make the choice - watch your diet and go to gym 3 days a week or go for abdominal etching surgery.
Or go for batman costume.

This is a “quick” fix solution but if it is not followed up with exercise and proper diet will still amount to nothing…
Aiii… Looks like there are more people with “fake” body out there. LOL!! ;-)

That seems a little scary to me…

Yikes, what is the world coming too?
Whatever happened to good old fashioned exercise? So you fork out all this money for cosmetic surgery, so what. Like Angie Tan said, you have to MAINTAIN it anyway!!
Save yourself $3000!
Cheers

That looks weird, I wouldn’t wanna be seen with my shirt off with a fake six pack, a fake six pack is more embarrassing that not having a six pack at all.
By the way, isn’t it better to work out 3 times a week instead of 5 times a week?

Man, those abs in the before-after pictures look nasty and extremely unnatural.

Ohh, this is something new to me about fake 6 packs. Now, now I should study the overall body twice before admiring in awe people with 6 packs. Agree with you that it’d would be funny for one having 3 pack but comes with flabby arms, legs and chubby cheeks.

wow.. i guess they have surgeries for everything.

Some people are blessed with 6 packs; they don’t really need to workout much on the abs cause they are born with a basic frame already. Surgery like this in my opinion is a waste of money!!

I’ll definitely choose exercise and watch what I eat than go for cosmetic surgery! For one thing, if you don’t have a nice well toned figure, having a six pack looks really fake! However, if you have a nice figure and a six pack is not forthcoming, maybe you may want to go for the surgery. Even then, that’s bordering on being too vain and desperate!

Yeah, Which is better:
3 days a week (monday, wednesday, friday) or 5 days(monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday)?
I’ve heard that the 3 is better because you need a day to rest after working out or you wont get the needed results
