Heartbeat indicator mouse is another creative fitness gadget. How it work is quite simple. When you use the mouse, your thumb and palm will touch the sensors inside and they will detect your heart rate. You can see your heart rate reading and even know how long you have been working. The inventor is promoting people to send the reading to their health carer or hospitals via network on a regular time schedule for health monitoring purpose.
However, if you have the tendency to keep looking at the reading, you may spend too much time in checking your heart rate and end up not doing much work. Also, when you are computing your income tax or surfing the adult sites, your heart rate may jump too and therefore affecting the regular readings.
I am not so sure whether this gadget will make it big but I couldn’t help but to fall in love with its soft blue glow.
This heart rate reading mouse is still in prototype stage and not yet in mass production.
