If You Ever Want a Muscular Upper Body While Working in Office, SpringFlex UB Has Something For You

Many office workers have spent much time sitting in front of their computers at least 6 to 8 hours a day in comfortable rooms. Because of lower metabolism, weight gain is common. Now, if that is a gadget, which allows you to work out your chest, back and arms in the office, will you buy it?

SpringFlex UB is probably the answer to office workers who dare to try. Clamps the two handles to the table and you are ready to exercise. The design is sleek and therefore you can even bring it to library if you want to (or dare to).

But, when I look at the demo pictures shown, I am skeptical:

  • Unless you are reading, with both arms busy working out, you will not be able to type or write or even picking up a call.
  • If working out only upper body, you may end up having imbalance body shape. Legs will be small like chicken legs.
  • Why the heck the guy is wearing an underwear to use the machines and he is even shirtless/ Moreover, he forgot to switch on the monitor.

So, are you ready to (strip down to boxers to) work out in your office cubicle?

Adding more on the demo pics, nobody wears sneakers to the office. That table looks like its from some high school, and my grandma used to say never go into an aircon room when u r sweating. But hey, aren’t we supposed to appreciate the concept than distracted by its props :)

I don’t think this gadget is really applicable in office. You’ll probably end up being fired, it is either you workout in your office cubicle or you complete your given task. Perhaps people will just buy it to try it, or this gadget mainly targets chief executive officers or directors only who doesn’t have loads of work!!

I think this product is a waste of money. If want to properly workout, go to the gym. Don’t mix office work with working out. The ad should be more realistic – at least have the guy wear office clothes but then that won’t attract attention, would it?

Why I’m surprised. I’m sitting here shirtless and sweating in my office as I type this. Of course, the secretary just screamed and ran away. Wait, come back! Hmmm…

Maybe someone at that Springflex should rethink they’re marketing materials. Dubious benefits of the product aside, why would you have a mostly naked guy using your product in an office environment? Have a well dressed woman on the phone with one had and using the product on the other. Anything would be better than the images above.
