Megan Fox Gained 10 Pounds Within 3 Weeks For Her Role in Transformers 2

You probably remember the scene of Megan Fox fixing Bumblebee in Transformers.  Her flat abs and other assets have made many (guys) skip their heart beating for few seconds.  Some even drop their jaws.

Unlike Jessica Simpson who has to work out very hard to stay slim, Megan Fox simply manages her weight easily. Megan does not eat much, but likes to munch on junk food and mashed potato.  She loves sugary iced teas and sweet juice.  Yes, Megan is lucky to have a very fast metabolism.  She burns calories much faster than average person does.  For the past one year, she has been busy going places to shoot Transformer II: Revenge of the Fallen and Jennifer’s Body.  Therefore, coupled with the hectic routine, it is no surprised that Megan is getting thinner.

Normally, female celebrities are asked to lose weight.  But, Transformer 2 director Michael Bay has asked Megan to put on additional 10 pounds (4.5 kilogram) in his Transformer sequel.  To do that, she actually ate cakes before she slept every night.  I was bit surprised to read about that.  What is more, she managed to do gain the weight within three weeks, after she has lost much weight for her role in “Jennifer’s Body”.  What the Michael Bay actually wanted was a more muscular actress. For me, she did not do it the right way. She did not have to eat sweet cake to gain weight.  Yes, I want to see a curvy body shape, but I prefer to see a stronger woman on the screen.  What she needs is muscle weight.  Don’t get me wrong.  She is beautiful.  But, only if she did what Jessica Biel has done, it will help sending a more positive message to young woman that being super skinny is out.

During an interview, Megan Fox has also told reporters that she is lazy to exercise.  But, she knew that Michael Bay is well known to push his crew to the limit.  So, like it or not, she still had to spend some time to work out.  She did not do much weight training.  She did cardiovascular exercise to burn body fat, crunches and planks for her abs.  She also went for Pilates and spinning classes.  As for her diet, she was asked to include almonds, lean meat and eggs in her daily menu.  As you can see, these foods are rich in protein.

It is good to get paid millions to eat cake to gain weight, who doesn’t want?  Megan is lucky.  She is only 23 years old this year.  Age is still on her side.  When she reaches the age of 30, it will be tough to stay slim with her eating habit.

    I do think that it’s much easier to gain weight than to lose. But two common things we must do is to eat the right kinds of food and do some exercises.

    No such thing as easier to gain weight or lose weight. For some, it’s easier to stay lean but hard to gain weight. For others, difficult to lose weight.

    Different bodies.

    Gaining pure lean muscle is a lot harder than losing bodyfat.
