It is indeed not easy to work out the outer thighs effectively. When you move your leg straight to the side, your other thigh muscles, abductor muscles, are actually working. Seated Thigh Abductor machine is one option for you to work on these muscles.

If you fall into group of people who are often involved in outdoor sports during day time, you may consider wearing a good pair of sunglasses. They protect your eyes from the damaging ultraviolet (UV) rays. Long term exposure to UV rays can damage your eye’s surface and its internal structure, results in cataracts. Cataract is a clouding of the natural lens, the part of the eye responsible for focusing light and producing clear images. It is even more important for people who live at high elevation or near the equator (my country being one) to wear sunglasses whenever out there for long period of time.

Little Known Health Benefits of Olive Oil

Recently I was discussing with my friends about what cooking oil is the best.  Some said sunflower oil and corn oil, some said virgin coconut oil and some even said butter and margarine.  Each has its supporter.  None is wrong, depending on hat criteria you classify the oil.  For me, I look at the “good fats” and “bad fats” which are based on its ability to raise or lower the total and LDL (bad) cholesterol.  (For newbie, to find out what exactly is cholesterol, check this out – What Is Cholesterol?)

Do You Have A First Aid Kit At Home?

What Is Stroke and How To Prevent Stroke?

I was quite shocked to find out that six new cases of stroke occur every hour in my country. Health Minister said the main reason for the increasing number of stroke cases was that many people are leading an unhealthy lifestyle, including being obese, smoking and failure to control hypertension, high cholesterol level and diabetes. Biceps Workout (6) – Standing One Arm Cable Bicep Curl

I normally do dumbbell bicep curl.  For variation, I will also do cable one arm bicep curl.  Instead of pulling the v bar or short bar using pulley, I prefer single arm at a time.  Doing this method helps ensure correct form. (more…)
