Legs Workout (13) – Seated Thigh Adductor Exercise

Adductor muscles, or the muscles situated on our inner thighs, are used extensively in sprinting, playing soccer, horse riding and sprinting. A weak adductor muscle may be injured in rapid movements of the leg against resistance like kicking a ball.

The adductor muscles help with stabilization and make it easier to perform lunges, squats, leg presses and other leg exercises that require good balance. However, the inner thighs are tough to be worked out effectively. So, if you are serious in building that part, the adductor machine will be helpful. (more…)

How To Get Over The Afternoon Slump

Everyday, when it is 3 o’clock in the afternoon, your shoulders slump, eyelids become heavy, text on computer screen become dim. Many people, especially office workers, have mid afternoon slump. After you wake up in the morning, your energy and alertness are at the full bar. However, a dip will happen in the afternoon as it is expected in your biological clock which regulate your sleep/wake system. Nothing wrong with a slight reduction in energy and light yawning. Each of us differ in the degree to which this afternoon slump hits. If you find yourself unable to focus on your work or fighting to stay awake while you are driving, you may want to do something about it.

Ever since the economic downturn in year 2008, sales of organic food may have fallen, but the craze about it is still there. In fact, organic food business is a great success story.  In the UK alone, it is a £2 billion business.  In the USA, the sales topped $24 billion in year 2008.  You hardly see it for sale ten years ago, but now almost all supermarkets have a dedicated section selling organic vegetables, fruits and meat.  In fact, creative businessmen have come out with series of organic foods such as organic drinks, bread, yogurt and even organic burger.
