When The Best Time To Eat Fruit, Before or After Meal?

posted on January 22nd, 2012 ·

One school of thought believes that you should eat fruit on empty stomach and before meal based on these few reasons:

  • Fruit contains simple sugar which supposedly does not require digestion and this sugar will not stay long in the stomach. Foods rich in protein or fat will stay in the stomach for a longer period because they require more digestion. If you eat fruit right after eating those foods, the fruit sugar will stay together with those foods in stomach. It ferments and turns to acid. It produces gas. Therefore, you burp when you eat watermelon after meal. Your stomach bloats up if you eat durian after meal.

How Jamie Eason Transform Her Body Shape

posted on January 18th, 2012 ·

Jamie Eason is a famous fitness model who has appeared in many magazine covers, especially those related to fitness and bodybuilding.  She is about 110 pounds and her body percentage is about 10%.

When Jamie Eason was young, she always struggled with her body image even she was not overweight.  She did not pay much attention to what she ate.  After her 1-year stint as Texans NFL Cheerleader, she had a 9 to 5 desk job which took a toll on her body.  She realized she had cellulite on her thighs and skin textures appeared pudgy.  In year 2005, an early detection on a lump on her breast prompted her to seriously look after her health.  She started going to the gym.

During an interview, he said, “It is funny because the games I played well were the games where I ate candy for breakfast. It is the reason why I got double digits in points and rebounds. I guess I am going to have to eat candy for breakfast in order to play well.” Before some of the important games, he admitted that he actually ate entire plate of jelly beans. Sound like a placebo effect to me. When his team mates are chewing gum or eating powergels for quick replenishment for energy during half time, he pop another piece of candy. In the team bus, his team mates appreciate his candy sharing session and they know who to look for when they need something sweet.
