Are You Having Too Much Dressing For Your Salad?

I was having lunch with my female colleagues today.  Two of them ordered only salad as their meal, with the reason that they want to slim down.  When their food arrives, I saw them putting much mayonnaise as the dressing.  While I agree salads are healthy stuff, pouring too much of dressing may defeat the purpose of having salad in the first place.
