Last week, my cousin sister told me that she loves the werewolf in Twilight: New Moon.  Not the fury animal, but the actor she was talking about, but Taylor Lautner (Jacob) who has spent most of his screen time shirtless showing his well toned muscles and 6-pack abs.  Coincidentally, one of the blog readers (Rodrigo) have also suggested me to have a go on the topic on how Taylor Lautner built his body.


If you are a fan of Twilight, you know that Jacob was only a small part in the first movie, then he became a major figure in New Moon. Since Edward Cullen is absent for much in Twilight: New Moon, it is really Jacob who is the male lead in the film, as the werewolf competitor for Bella Swan’s heart. (more…)

If you are an avid fan of action movie, you probably know that “Ninja Assassin” movie has hit the cinemas worldwide on the last week of November 2009.  It features one of the most famous heart-throbs in Asia, Rain.  Rain is also known as Bi in Korea and his full name is Jeong “Rain” Ji-hoon. You Don’t Need A Pedometer To Know How Far You Have Run

Google has created its name as one of the online trend setters. It has a free web mapping service application called Google Map. Few days ago, my friend showed me a special website created with Google Map. This website, Gmaps Pedometer, allows runners to track millage of their daily trek.

How To Use Gmaps Pedometer:

  1. Zoom into the location by using the slider or the + or – keys. You can click on the top right button to show different modes of the map – map, satellite or hybrid. (more…)

A Small Tip To Get The Most From Your Push Up…Which Many Do Not Know

In my previous post, I wrote about how to do a proper push up. I have this additional tip worth mentioning – pausing at the halfway when you do push up.

The movement is still the same. The only difference is that you hold for a second when you lower yourself. Continue lower your chest and then hold for another second. When you push back up to the halfway point, you pause for another second before going back to the start position.  As usual, aim for 8 to 12 repetitions each set and do 2 to 3 sets. (more…)

Mallercise (Walking in Mall) – Is It Another Fitness Craze?

Every weekend, in the city I stay, I see people flocking to shopping malls. It has almost been a common trend in big cities when families spending almost a day in the mall, from shopping, dining to movie going in the same place. While some are doing that, that is another group of people actually exercise too in the same mall, 3 to 4 times a week.

Yes, I am talking about “mallercise”. Mallercise, or commonly known as mall walking, is a walking exercise in shopping malls. It is supposed to be the power walking done while window shopping. The craze has swept many places in the US, Canada and catching on in the UK too. (more…)
