You probably have feeling pain in your muscles after weight lifting at the gym. The soreness may take place right after your workout or several hours (12 to 48 hours) after your workout (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness or DOMS). You could feel soreness, even when you are lying on the bed. If the pain is at your thighs, walking up the stair can be a challenging task too.

Will You Buy Smaller Clothes For Weight Loss Motivation?

Through a casual conversation with some female colleagues, I found out that few of them actually have bought smaller sized clothes as weight loss motivation.  If you wonder whether this little trick has helped them to achieve their weight loss goal, sadly, not for now for any of them.  That conversation makes me have a deep thought.

For some, getting smaller jeans or tops reminds them of their goal.  They will visualize themselves in that clothes. The clothes inspire them to stick to their exercise routine and diet plan. (more…)

Why You Should Not Do Behind-The-Neck Lat Pull Down?

Lat pull down is a favorite exercise in gym. No doubt, if done correctly, lat pull down help obtain “V” shape. However, I have seen some are doing pulling the bar behind their head with the belief that by pulling the bar down behind the head, they get a fuller contraction for the lats muscles. I used to do it too when I first started working out, but immediately advised by a fitness instructor not to do it. Yes, behind the head lat pull down should be avoided. Why? We will find out the reasons.
