Beer Mug That Shows How Much Calories You Have Drunk

I have always been impressed and sometimes being amused by Japanese invention, including the huge treadmill game and bilk. Take this calorie counting beer mug for example.

This is a mug which has measurement on how much calories you will be drinking if you finish that mug of beer. Based on the picture, it indicates 300 milliliter of beer equals 150 calories.

May be people who are health conscious will appreciate this mug, but most who drink will not really care about how much calories in the beer.

OK, take it as a joke.

Unlike Amanda Bread and Ashley Harkleroad, Jennie Finch has actually turned down Playboy’s lucrative offer to appear on the magazine cover. She said that she would rather be a role model for young girls than being the cover girl.

However, Lauren Jackson who is one the best Australian basket ball players will probably disagree. (more…)

I have befriend with several elderly gym goers. Before this, I am hesitant about joining fitness dance class or doing weight lifting with them. But, I was glad that I learn few tips by watching, listening and being friends with these senior citizens.

1) They May Look Weak But They Are Not Out
I watched an old man, probably at my dad’s age doing deadlift under the guidance of a personal trainer. Then, I saw a late 60s woman balancing a pair of dumbbells and getting ready for shoulder press. (more…)

POWER! That seems to be the number one item in many golfer’s wish list – wanting those extra yards added to their drive and fairway shots.  Adding more power to the swing or increasing your drive is not a new idea.  You can find thousands of websites, videos and books teaching you that skill as though this is the “holy grail” of golf and will finally stop you slicing the ball and allow you to join the PGA tour.  However, at the end of a round, most golfers will tell you that they would gladly trade that extra 10 yards on their drive for a more consistent game.  Yes, being consistent in all of your games is far more important.
