Finally, went to Celebrity Fitness at Bangsar Village (II) together with a friend for a free trial last weekend. Instead of using the typical “Personal Trainer”, “Fitness Instructor”, Celebrity Fitness call them “Rapid Result Coach”. En lloc d'utilitzar el típic "entrenador personal", "Fitness Instructor", Celebrity Fitness anomenen "els resultats d'autobusos ràpids. Rapid result? Ràpid resultat? Interesting, not sure it means 1 week or 1 month to see the result. Interessant, no vol dir que 1 setmana o 1 mes a veure el resultat.

It's true as they call themselves “Rapid Result Coach” as these guys are more experienced and they're the senior trainers/instructors. Mun, do you just walk into all these gyms for free trials? Mun, que acaba de fer peu en tots els gimnasos d'aquestes proves gratuïtes? (without having any free pass already?) or you actually had some kind of “free trial pass” beforehand? (sense tenir cap passi lliure ja?) o si realment hi havia algun tipus de "prova gratuïta passar" per endavant?

Hi Vertigo: Thanks. Vertigen Hola: Gràcies. I could see other gyms are doing the same by differentiating the junior and senior personal trainers, either by the title or the uniform color. Vaig poder veure altres gimnasos estan fent el mateix per la diferenciació dels subalterns i superiors d'entrenadors personals, ja sigui pel títol o el color uniforme.

I went to some gyms with free pass from friends; some I called up to make an appointment; some I just walked in; as for others, was invited by the gym staffs (not management though). Vaig anar a alguns gimnasos amb el lliure pas dels amics, alguns em crida per fer una cita, alguns camí acaba en, com per a altres, va ser convidat pel gimnàs personal (encara que no la gestió).

CELEBRITY FITNESS POLICY SUCKS Celebrity ADEQUACIÓ POLÍTICA sucks
I signed up as member for Celebrity Fitness Centre in Bangsar for a one year trial (pre-opening) after keen persuation by its sales personnel. Em va inscriure com a membre de celebritat Gimnàs a bangs d'un any de prova (pre-obertura), després de molt persuation pel seu personal de vendes. To my surprise and astonishment, they continue to charge my credit card on the monthly fees after the one year term. Upon checking they told me that my membership was automatically renewed as provided by the small prints at the back of the contract / sign up forms. This is a desperate sales tactics to compell customers to be their member untill death or write in to terminate and pay termination fees! Aquesta és una tàctica desesperada vendes a clients compell per ser-ne membre fins a la mort o en escriure a cancel lar i pagar les taxes de terminació!

The facilities here are actually pretty good, but the customer service sucks. Les instal lacions són realment molt bo, però el servei al client apesta.
Especially the manager, Agus, who happens to be a real jerk. Sobretot el gerent, Agus, que passa a ser un veritable idiota. They seem to have a holier-than-thou attitude in dealing with customers. I considered signing-up here but went with California Fitness in Mid-Valley instead because I was so put off by their behavior. I think that there's much more to a gym than having good equipment. Crec que hi ha molt més que un gimnàs de tenir bon equip. If the people around you are emitting bad vibes, it just spoils the whole work-out experience. Si la gent que l'envolta són males vibracions que emeten, només fa malbé tot el treball de l'experiència. This is especially true here because the membership desk is like the control deck on Starship Enterprise, overlooking the whole gym floor. Això és especialment cert perquè la composició és com la taula de control de la coberta de Starship Enterprise, gimnàs amb vistes a tot el pis. I mean, WTF? Vull dir, WTF? I don't want to have to look at the person's face who just made me a few thousand ringgit poorer while I'm doing my lats. No vull haver de mirar la cara de la persona que m'acaba de fer uns quants milers de Ringgit més pobres mentre estic fent la meva lats.
