Finally, went to Celebrity Fitness at Bangsar Village (II) together with a friend for a free trial last weekend. Panghuli, ang napunta sa Celebrity Fitness at Bangsar Village (II) kasama ang isang kaibigan para sa isang libreng pagsubok huling linggo. This outlet is located at the fourth floor of Bangsar Village II. Umaagos na ito ay matatagpuan sa ika-apat na palapag ng Bangsar Village II.
This is Celebrity Fitness fourth Malaysia outlet and it was opened in March 2007. Ito ang ika-apat na Celebrity Kalusugan Malaysia umaagos at ito ay binuksan noong Marso 2007. At the entrance, we were greeted by at least three banners with Amber Chia huge picture. Met the sales person. Matugunan ang mga benta tao. As expected, she asked lots of questions with a standard questionnaire – What is your fitness goal? We understood that she was just doing her job, so, we did not give her much trouble. Machines meant for upper body are located at first floor, with the exception of few – triceps machine are located at ground floor. Ang gym ay mas dami ng hangin sa mga cool off sa 20 feet ng kisame. The number of air conditioners is just not enough. Ang bilang ng mga air conditioners ay hindi sapat. Also, as this place is located at the highest floor, the roof is exposed with the hot afternoon sunlight. Gayundin, bilang sa lugar na ito ay matatagpuan sa pinakamataas na palapag, ang bubong ay napakita sa mainit na sikat ng araw sa hapon. Probably, it will not be so warm at night. The other thing that caught my attention is the personal trainer. Ang iba pang mga bagay na nahuli ang aking pansin ay ang mga personal na tagapagsanay. Instead of using the typical “Personal Trainer”, “Fitness Instructor”, Celebrity Fitness call them “Rapid Result Coach”. Sa halip ng paggamit ng pangkaraniwang "Personal tagapagturo", "Fitness tagapagturo", Celebrity Kalusugan tawag sa kanila "Rapid Resulta coach". Rapid result? Rapid resulta? Interesting, not sure it means 1 week or 1 month to see the result. Kagiliw-giliw na, hindi na ito ay nangangahulugan ng 1 linggo-linggo o 1 week para makita ang mga resulta.

It's true as they call themselves “Rapid Result Coach” as these guys are more experienced and they're the senior trainers/instructors. Ito ay tunay na sila ay tumawag sa kani-kanilang mga sarili bilang "Rapid Resulta coach" bilang mga guys ay mas sanay at sila ay ang mga senior trainers / instructors. They overlooked those regular ones, which happened to be their juniors. Sila overlooked sa mga regular na iyan, na ang nangyari sa kanilang mga juniors.

Mun, do you just walk into all these gyms for free trials? Mun, gawin mo lang maglakad sa lahat ng mga gyms para sa libreng pagsubok? (without having any free pass already?) or you actually had some kind of “free trial pass” beforehand? (nang walang pagkakaroon ng anumang mga libreng pass na?) o ikaw ang tunay na nagkaroon ng ilang mga uri ng "libreng pagsubok pass" muna?

Hi Vertigo: Thanks. Hi pagkaliyo: Thanks. I could see other gyms are doing the same by differentiating the junior and senior personal trainers, either by the title or the uniform color. Ako could makita ang iba pang mga gyms ay ang paggawa nito sa pamamagitan ng differentiating ang junior at senior personal trainers, alinman sa pamamagitan ng pamagat o ang mga magkakatulad na kulay.

I went to some gyms with free pass from friends; some I called up to make an appointment; some I just walked in; as for others, was invited by the gym staffs (not management though). Nagpunta ako sa ilang mga gyms sa mga free pass mula sa mga kaibigan; ilang tinatawag na ako na gumawa ng appointment; ilang ko lamang sa walked; bilang para sa iba, ay inimbitahan ng gym staffs (hindi management bagaman).

CELEBRITY FITNESS POLICY SUCKS Celebrity KAANGKUPAN PATAKARAN sucks
I signed up as member for Celebrity Fitness Centre in Bangsar for a one year trial (pre-opening) after keen persuation by its sales personnel. I-sign up bilang miyembro para sa Kalusugan Celebrity Centre sa Bangsar para sa isang paglilitis ng isang taon (pre-opening) pagkatapos matalim persuation benta sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga tauhan. I later moved to transfer my membership to their Subang Jaya outlet. Ako mamaya inilipat sa transfer aking pagiging kasapi sa kanilang Subang Jaya labasan. As a requirement, I have to charge the monthly fees to my credit card. Bilang isang requirement, ako may sa singil ng buwanang bayad sa aking credit card. After about 9 months of being a member I only used the facility once and decided to terminate the membership. Pagkatapos ng tungkol sa 9 months ng pagiging isang miyembro ko lamang na ginagamit ng mga pasilidad na minsan at nagpasyang itigil ang membership. The Customer service personnel convinced me to complete the one year term otherwise I have to pay for a termination fee. Ang mga serbisyo ng mga tauhan ng Customer kumbinsido sa akin upang makumpleto ang isang taon na kataga sa kabilang banda ko bang magbayad para sa isang termination fee. I then agreed to continue to complete the one year term. Ako pagkatapos ay sumang-ayon na magpatuloy upang makumpleto ang isang taon term.
To my surprise and astonishment, they continue to charge my credit card on the monthly fees after the one year term. Sa aking pagkamangha at labis na pagtataka, sila ay patuloy na singilin ang aking credit card sa buwanang bayad na matapos ang isang taon term. Upon checking they told me that my membership was automatically renewed as provided by the small prints at the back of the contract / sign up forms. Sa suri sila na sinasabi sa akin na ang aking pagiging kasapi ay awtomatikong renewed bilang na ibinigay sa pamamagitan ng maliit na mga kopya sa likod ng kontrata / mag-sign up ng form. This was never explained to me during the signing-in. Ito ay hindi naipaliwanag sa akin sa panahon ng sign-in. I realised the extra charges 4 months late and sought for reimbursements but were declined despite acknowledging that they did not inform me of the automatic renewal of membership. Realised ko ang dagdag na singil na 4 na buwan at huli na hinahangad para sa reimbursements ngunit ay tinanggihan sa kabila ng acknowledging na sila ay hindi alam sa akin ng awtomatikong pagpapanibago ng pagiging kasapi.
This is a desperate sales tactics to compell customers to be their member untill death or write in to terminate and pay termination fees! Ito ay isang lulong sa benta taktika sa compell mga customer sa kanilang mga miyembro hanggang kamatayan o sumulat sa tapusin at bayaran termination fees!

The facilities here are actually pretty good, but the customer service sucks. Ang mga pasilidad dito ay talagang pretty mabuti, ngunit ang mga customer service sucks.
Especially the manager, Agus, who happens to be a real jerk. Lalo na ang manager, Agus, na ang mangyayari sa isang real-alog. They seem to have a holier-than-thou attitude in dealing with customers. Sila tila sa may a holier-kaysa-kayo attitude sa pakikitungo sa mga customer. How about taking some classes in customer service? Paano ang tungkol sa pagkuha ng ilang mga klase sa customer service? I considered signing-up here but went with California Fitness in Mid-Valley instead because I was so put off by their behavior. Ako alang-sign-up dito ngunit went sa California Fitness sa kalagitnaan ng Valley dahil sa halip na ako ay kaya magpaliban sa pamamagitan ng kanilang pag-uugali.
I think that there's much more to a gym than having good equipment. Sa tingin ko na may marami pa sa isang gym sa pagkakaroon ng mahusay na mga kagamitan. If the people around you are emitting bad vibes, it just spoils the whole work-out experience. Kung ang mga tao sa paligid mo ay emitting masamang nginig, ito lamang ang buong trabaho spoils-out karanasan. This is especially true here because the membership desk is like the control deck on Starship Enterprise, overlooking the whole gym floor. Ito ay lalong totoo dito dahil ang pagiging miyembro ng desk ay gaya ng control deck sa Starship Enterprise, overlooking sa buong gym sahig. I mean, WTF? I mean, WTF? I don't want to have to look at the person's face who just made me a few thousand ringgit poorer while I'm doing my lats. Hindi ko nais na may sa tumingin sa ang tao ng mukha na lang ginawa sa akin ng ilang libong Ringgit poorer habang I'm doing aking lats.
