
بعد ماء, شاي العالم شراب تالية رئيسيّة. بدأت شاي كان بإمبراطورة صينيّة على 4,500 سنون [أغو] قبل يكون شعبيّة. قد كان شاي واحدة من الحاجات يوميّة في الصين [سنس ثن]. صينيّ يحبّ أن يتلقّى [أفتر-مل] [كب وف تا]. بما أنّ الصينيّ غالبا قال هو بعد وجهة كبيرة "[لت'س] شربت شاي أن "غسلت" الزيت بعيدا من النظامة وسهولة هضم. خمّنت أنّ يكون هذا وزن خسارة أسطورة أنّ يجعل شاي يحصل شعبيّة في الالغرب الآن.

خمّرت شاي خضراء عادة يستعمل 1 [تو] 2 ملعقة شاي من ال ينشّف شاي في فنجان ال [بويل وتر]. خضراء شاي مقتطفات أيضا يتوفّر في كبسولة شكل.
يتلقّى كثير من صديقاتي أنثويّة العادة أن يشرب شاي خضراء إلى مدى مثل [درينك وتر]. هو ليس مفاجأة بما أنّ بعض شركات يكون يدفعون شاي خضراء بما أنّ المتأخّرة (يتيح) طريق أن يخسر وزن.
يتبع بعض من الخضراء شاي صاحب مصنع' إدعاءات:
- خضراء شاي زيادة فوق أيضك. دراسة أسّس أنّ خضراء شاي نتج مقتطف في زيادة هامّة في [إنرج إكسبنديتثر] (أيض `ضغط معزّز'). استنتج الباحثات أيضا أنّ أنّ على فترة [24-هوور], خضراء شاي مقتطف يزيد المعدل أيضيّة ب 4%. بعض قال حوالي 79 حريرة [ا] يوم مع فنجان من شاي خضراء. إن الإدعاء يكون صحّ, في سنة, سيكون هو 28,000 حريرة [ا] سنة أيّ يكون حوالي 8 باوندات (حوالي 3.6 كيلوغرام) من وزن. يذهب بعض شركات خطوة أبعد ب يقدّم خضراء شاي وزن خسارة رقاع.

- يدّعي كثير شركات أيضا أنّ يمنع شاي خضراء [فت بسربأيشن] ومساعدات سكروز نظام تعديل. خضراء شاي مساعدة أن يمنع الحركة السكروز داخل خلايا سمينة. هو يساعد أن يتمهّل الإرتفاع في [بلوود سوغر] بعد وجبة. هذا يمنع عال أنسولين مسامير (يروّج حصص الأنسولين تخزين سمينة) والتخزين لاحقة سمينة.
- يصدق بعض الناس أنّ شاي خضراء يمكن ساعدت قلّدت شهية. Study found that green tea caused rats to lose up to 21 percent of their body weight. Rats injected with a green tea extract lost their appetites and consumed up to 60 percent less food after seven days of daily injections. This may have something to do with the blood sugar regulating effects of green tea.

Now, which claim is true and what is my take on them?

- I rather position green tea as an alternative to coffee or soft drink for those are on diet. To promote it as slimming tea may be misleading. Based on what I found from Internet, those who drink green tea to replace their coffee are the group who actually notice a drop in their weight. I could not really find a really good study that definitively shows drinking green tea will help a person lose weight. Most often cited are studies which suggest green tea extracts “may” promote weight loss.
- You are not going to eat 5000 calories a day, drink a cup of green tea and make it all go away. Even if the loss of 79 calories a day is possible, it is better for you to jog to burn that calories because jogging will train your cardiovascular fitness.? A healthy diet and increased exercise will go a long way in helping you lose weight.
- Also, be cautious of the caffeine if you have health problems. For some people that have heart troubles, high blood pressure or stimulant sensitivities, the caffeine in green tea may not be ta good thing for you in long term. If you are worried about the caffeine from green tea, try taking green tea extract. Most green tea extract is made from decaffeinated green tea so you can still get the benefits without the caffeine.
- Instead of looking purely on the weight loss benefits, green tea does provide health benefits - eases digestion and brings about a slight drop in blood pressure. Chinese tea is also rich in various vitamins. For smokers, it helps to discharge nicotine out of the system.

For me, green tea is a healthy beverage. If green tea actually helps stimulate the body to burn calories, this is a great bonus. Again, let me emphasis again - There is no such thing as a ‘miracle’ weight loss food or drug.

An interesting article. Thanks! Of coz there is no such thing as a miracle slimming drug but i f i can replace my coffee with unsweetened green tea to replace the caffeine, it will b a bonus already.

Interesting… Funny thought that instead of decreasing my appetite, it increases mine! Probably because green tea can be a bit acidic too.
There is no miracle drug other than change of lifestyle, exercise and good eating habits.
I’m taking Japanese green tea which my system seems to tolerate better after my problems with acid reflux and heartburn from too much coffee or tea.
Of course, one must also be sure that the green tea we are taking are of good quality without much additives…

Love your pictures! I think the food industry takes a lot of things out of context when it comes to promoting that “miracle” food or pill that will help with weight loss. But as long as there are people willing to pay for the hope of a miracle, there will continue to people willing to sell that snake oil.

Good post Mun. I think green tea is a great alternative to less healthy options such as soft drinks. However, green tea weight loss patches are taking it way too far.

The less we eat, the less calories we consume. Less calories should equal more weight loss, right? Well, the equation isn?t so simple. Your metabolism is the most important factor in burning fat quickly, and when we go too long between meals the body?s metabolism slows to a crawl.

If you’re trying to lose weight, there are some herbal teas that are said to be helpful. However, they can also cause your digestive system to go crazy, examples are Chinese herbal tea that make you always visit the you know… This is also an unpleasant way to do it. Although green tea is another story, of course.
