Whenever we eat out, we have to trust the chef is preparing the food to the standard we expect, in terms of cleanliness. You may be surprised to find out how these food are prepared when you go into the kitchen. That is why I prefer not to know what happening at the back, as long as I enjoy the food.
Lately, in New York, a customer of a Chinese restaurant, Dan Barreto, has taken a photo on how the restaurant employee stomping a huge bowl of garlic at the back alley. That person was wearing boots to do that.
So, may be it is time to eat in to ensure the food is hygiene. Even then, we are not sure the conditions the raw ingredients have been exposed to.
By the way, I thought some wine is prepared the similar way where workers tread on the grapes. Isn’t it?
