I found that this movement is extremely difficult to master and one needs to tone and train your abdominal muscles a lot before considering to try this exercise.

I love this exercise, but it is a difficult one. All of the planks are great core workouts.

I would love to try this but I feel like this would be easier for me if I have a workout buddy. Don’t you think so?

Although this workout is difficult, it is extremely good it works your core muscles to the max and the main part to good abs is having a good strong core. Thanks for the great post.

Hey all! Really very tough exercise it is! I tried it and still keep on trying as I found it very strong exercise for hip muscles & obviously arms and for abdominal muscles too. Great!

Very good core exercises – can be difficult for those not used to training their core.

As mentioned in the article; if you have fat around the waist, look to decrease body fat levels via diet and exercise. You can perform as many side planks as you want – it won’t slim down your waist (in fact, it would do the opposite if anything, as the obliques experiances hypertrophy).
