I got a shock the other week. I went to the Doctors and he told me that i’d gained 6kg in 6 months. (even though I had lost a dress size!) The doctor scolded me for putting on weight and I left feeling pretty bad.
Then my combat instructor reminded me that I had been doing alot of weight training and increasing my weights alot and that muscle is denser than fat. Which would explain why i’ve gained weight but lost a size. I’ve now taken an approach to not concentrate on my weight, rather waist size etc.

    … still, i’ve cut out chocolates… again :P :)

Excellent read. It’s like an endless myriad of products out there promising benefits they can never fulfill. Or, if they do fulfill it, your body may experience something completely different after.

There is something to be said about the value of traditional activity and exercise, how you lose something by doing something about it.

What about ingrown toes?… I know this seems like the wrong spot for this question but ive been harassed by two ingrown big toes for 11 years now. Not having the funds or insurance to professionaly take care of it, ive gotten real good at doing it myself. The thing is, its hard to run, and its really painful too, to run jog, or even walk somtimes.
This being said, Im at 68 inches tall (5’8″) at 210lbs. My goal is to get to 181lbs (for military purposes but thats not important)
Not being able to run or jog or even hike (for now) what exercises can i do on top of not eatting as much? Because I’ve really cut my food intake, i was at 225lbs just a few weeks ago. i seem to have leveled out at 205lbs and 210lbs.

(This is my favorite blog btw, i got it on my facebook too xD
Good job with the site *Kudos*)

Wise advice. Eat less, do more, get used to feeling hungry for the rest of you life and expect to achieve nothing significant in less than 6-9 months.

Hi i would like to say that this is really good article, but i think that eating less isn’t the way to lose weight.
I would say eating less but more often and as you said “clean” is the way to lose body FAT.

Hi, there. Nice Post. I think that the simplest trick of losing weight is to burn more calories than what you are consuming. Find out your ideal weight and chalk out a fitness routine that will help you to fulfill your health goals. Ideally, a fitness program should include eating a balanced diet and exercising on a regular basis.
