Based on comments left in my blog in different posts and also e-mails, here are the list of what people hate most most in their gym:

  1. I hate that my gym does not have enough parking space.
  2. I hate people who talk on phones while sitting at the machine doing nothing.
  3. I hate that my gym does not provide towels and I have to bring my own. (more…)

smelly-stinky-wet-socks-used-in-workout.jpg

After exercising, it is normal that our clothes stink, especially after it is soaking wet with sweat. Also, if the wet towels or socks are kept in the gym bag for too long, they smell really bad after a long day. So, it is always good to wash them immediately.

However, I do not really do that. I normally do my laundry during weekends and I always wash the workout clothes together with my other clothes. Those fully cotton shirts are normally still smell good after the wash. However, sometimes, polyester made shirts or pants like Nike Dri-Fit, Under Armour or CoolMax have that weird musty smell after the wash. I have to hang them under hot sun, then only that smell will go away. I am not sure that is only me or others have the same experience. (more…)

I later realized that the report, which was prepared by Melbourne’s Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, made the conclusion based on the percentage of the population. The latest figure shows that 4 million Australians or 26% of the adult population are obese whereas US has about 25%. A further 5 million Australians are considered overweight. (more…)

Yesterday when I was at my friend’s place, I saw him washing banana before peeling to eat.

I was puzzled and asked him the reason of doing so.

He told me that not only does he washes banana, he wash kiwis, mangoes, orange, apple and other fruits before he eat them. He said that many hands may have touched the fruit before it actually goes into our mouths. (more…)
