I’ve seen a guy read the newspaper between sets. It really annoyed me. It’s not a damn library!!

I count the seconds to my next set :)

I will increase/reduce the weight and check on the time on my watch the for my next set during the rest period.. And that’s between 60-90secs.

It is vital to keep moving between sets, even if it is stretching to keep your muscles warm and able. Sitting down or reading a paper isn’t a good idea as you’ll probably end up freezing up.

How often should i increase my weight after completing like 3 sets…..or do iincrease weight with less reps after each set?

Try interval training! This way you don’t have to wait around between sets and you only need a couple of minutes rest between intervals.

i walk back and forth a bit just to keep myself warm while catching my breath. sometimes i will sit down and rest a bit. most of the time i’ll be adjusting the weight. i guess everyone pretty much have different way of resting between set. i think what you should highlight is what NOT to do while in between set. i can think of one really annoying example, chatting.

i really hate it when i see people chatting non-stop in between set, not only their muscles are all cold down because they tend to chat too long. they are also wasting others’ time by hogging the machine or the weights they are using. the same goes for phone calls too. IF you want to chat with your loved one, do so before or after the workout NOT during one.

I usually have loud music on so I just, sing to the music, jump up and down, and dance to the music; of course I work out in my house and not in a public gym so I can do whatever I want, I like to work out with hip hop, reggaeton and Epic music, thats right Epic; you know such as gothic power

Weird I know, but It gives me a lot of energy.

Adjusting the weights and drinking some water now and then… but also: checking my heartbeat and trying to breath right! You should try that. It can be quite vital you know…
